Join Joseph McGill, Founder of the The Slave Dwelling Project, as we educate ourselves about the intertwined history of Americans of African and European origins, from the country’s founding to the present, to help us rewrite the narrative of history, preserve slave dwellings, and have dialogue about the legacies of slavery.

Friday, October 11:

4:00 PM – Student Presentation w/ CDF After School Program at Blenheim School of Discovery
5:30 PM – Dinner w/ Joseph McGill at Fiesta Tapatia – 630 Cheraw St.
8:30 PM – Campfire Conversation w/ Joseph McGill (Limited to 35 participants) Please bring a chair.
11:00 PM – Onsite Sleepover w/Joesph McGill. Please bring your tent/camping equipment, chair, and a flashlight.
