Independence Day Fireworks

6th Annual Independence Day Fireworks

The City of Bennettsville will LIGHT UP THE SKY on Saturday, June 27!

Once again, Bennettsville will celebrate Independence Day with our annual fireworks display, shot from Lake Paul A. Wallace at 9:30 pm. The display is expected to end around 10 pm.

To adhere to CDC guidelines, the event plan for the annual fireworks show has been amended to a drive-in firework show. There will be no public access to any area inside the fences at Lake Paul A. Wallace during the fireworks show, and there will be no pre-fireworks entertainment.

Enjoy the fireworks while practicing safe distancing and viewing the show from your vehicle from any of the great viewing locations around the Lake.

To ensure the safety of all citizens, boats must be removed from the Lake starting at 7 pm.  The parking lot located at the entrance to the Lake Wallace Walking Trail on Country Club Drive will be reserved for the Bennettsville Fire Department.

Attendees are invited to park in the lots at Bennettsville Primary School and the AMIKids Infinity Marlboro site. Please refrain from parking on the grass in front of the Bennettsville Primary School or on the sides of the road on Country Club Drive or Jefferson Street.

More information about this event, including the traffic plan, will be shared as soon as possible.
